Interview: Using a trade mark - how, when & where?

In Interview What’s my mark? we identified some relevant issues for traders applying to register a trade marks.

Trade marks are, by definition, words or symbols used to denote the trade source of goods or services.  Use is fundamental to trade mark law and arises in many contexts; for example,  from the scope of an application, securing acceptance, maintaining a registration and trade marks in a conflict situation.

This interview provides comments on some of the issues associated with how, when and where a trade mark is to be used.
